Entry Requirements

Age Requirement:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of course commencement.
Assessment & Interview:
  • Some prospective students may be required to undertake a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) assessment or participate in an enrolment interview prior to acceptance.
Educational Qualifications:
  • Must have completed Australian Year 11 or an equivalent level of schooling, or
  • Hold a Certificate III or higher qualification from an Australian institution.
English Language Proficiency:
  • Must demonstrate an IELTS score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5, or equivalent proficiency demonstrated by one of the following:
    • IBT: 46
    • PTE Academic: 42
    • CAE: 162
    • OET: B
    • Duolingo: 90
    • General English: Upper Intermediate
    • MOI Certificate
    • Certificate III or higher qualification from an Australian institution
Physical Requirements:
  • Must have the ability to carry out workshop training involving physical activity, including lifting.
General Induction Training:
  • Prior to commencing the practical components of the course, students must complete the general induction training program (white card).
