Entry Requirements

Age Requirement:

  • Must be 18 years or older at the time of course commencement.

Assessment & Interview:

  • Some applicants may be required to complete a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) assessment or attend an enrolment interview prior to acceptance.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Must have completed Australian Year 11 or equivalent level of schooling, or
  • Hold a Certificate III or higher qualification from an Australian institution.

English Language Proficiency:

  • Must demonstrate English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.0, with no band less than 5.5, or one of the following:
    • IBT: 46
    • PTE Academic: 42
    • CAE: 162
    • OET: B
    • General English: Upper Intermediate
    • MOI Certificate
    • Certificate III or higher qualification from an Australian institution

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to participate in workshop training involving physical activity, including lifting.

Safety Training:

  • Completion of the General Induction Training Program (White Card) is required prior to starting practical components of the course.
