Entry Requirements

Age Requirement:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of course commencement.

Assessment & Interview:

  • Some applicants may be required to undertake a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) assessment or an enrolment interview prior to acceptance.

Educational Background:

  • Must have completed Australian Year 11 or equivalent level of schooling.
  • Alternatively, a Certificate III or higher qualification from an Australian institution.

English Language Proficiency:

  • Must demonstrate an English proficiency level equivalent to IELTS 6.0 with no band less than 5.5, or one of the following:
    • IBT: 46
    • PTE Academic: 42
    • CAE: 162
    • OET: B
    • Duolingo: 100
    • General English: Upper Intermediate
    • MOI Certificate
    • Certificate III or higher qualification from an Australian institution

Physical Ability:

  • Must have the ability to participate in workshop training that involves physical activities, including lifting.

Safety Training:

  • Prior to commencing the practical components of the course, students must complete the General Induction Training Program (White Card).
