Course Description

We provide Advanced Diploma in IT courses at WARATAH POLYTECHNIC with two specializations:

  1. Cyber Security
  2. Telecommunications Network Engineering

The design of both course streams takes into account the duties and qualifications of various roles in information and communication technology. You will graduate from the course with technical skills that are in high demand, such as business analysis, cloud computing, cyber security, and programming. In addition, it will give you a variety of people and business management abilities that are essential for overseeing complicated projects and managing tech teams. With the help of the Advanced Diploma, you’ll be ready to handle challenging IT jobs in your area of expertise and apply your knowledge to lead projects and formulate corporate strategy.

Entry Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of course commencement.
Some prospective students may be asked to undertake an LLN assessment or enrolment interview prior to acceptance.
Must have completed Australian Year 11 or equivalent level of schooling or a Certificate III or higher qualification with an Australian institution
Must demonstrate English level of IELTS 5.5 with no band less that 5.0 or equivalent, such as:

CAE 162
OET B
Duolingo 90
General English Upper Intermediate
MOI Certificate
Certificate III or higher qualification with an Australian institution
Must have the ability to carry out workshop training involving physical activity, including lifting.
Prior to commencement of practical components of the course, the student must complete the general induction training program (white card).
