Entry Requirements

The following are the prerequisites for admission to Waratah Polytechnic. Students from abroad must:

possess a Year 12 diploma or its equivalent, and be at least 17 years old.
In order to ascertain your appropriateness for the course and the requirements of the students, take part in an admission interview.
possess a 5.5 IELTS* score (test results cannot be older than two years). Documented proof of any of the following can also be used to establish proficiency in the English language:
five years of education in an English-speaking nation; or
completion of an English placement test with success *Note that the PTE and TOEFL are examples of alternative English language examinations that may be approved. To verify that they are comparable to the IELTS 5.5, students must submit their results.
