This course is designed for individuals aiming to become skilled automotive electricians. It provides comprehensive training in diagnosing, repairing, and replacing the electrical components in motor vehicles. Key areas of focus include electrical circuitry, battery systems, lighting, instrumentation, and electronic control systems of modern vehicles.
Students will engage in practical, hands-on learning and troubleshooting techniques, alongside theoretical studies to develop a robust understanding of automotive electrical systems. This qualification prepares graduates for a dynamic career in the automotive industry, with skills applicable to a wide range of vehicles and machinery.

15 hours of face-to-face sessions + 5 hours of trainer-led online sessions
Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of course commencement.
Some prospective students may be asked to undertake an LLN assessment or enrolment interview prior to acceptance.
Must have completed Australian Year 11 or equivalent level of schooling or a Certificate III or higher qualification with an Australian institution
Must demonstrate English level of IELTS 5.5 with no band less that 5.0 or equivalent, such as:

Must have the ability to carry out workshop training involving physical activity, including lifting.
